2011 Scholarship Competition
IDU is offering prospective students a scholarship competition in Graphic and Fashion Design. The competition is open to anyone wishing to pursue a career in the Graphic or Fashion Design industry.
For students still completing high school, the scholarship can be taken up after graduation.
1st prize in the Graphic and Fashion Design categories is a full scholarship valued at over $38,000 (one per category)
2nd prize is one semester tuition fee valued at over $9,500 (one per category)
3rd prize is an elective subject tuition fee incorporating a study trip to Europe valued at $6,600 (three per category)
Runners up will receive a free art kit upon enrolment.
Prizes are non-transferable. Winners have the option of joining the mid-year intake in August.
DETAILS: The scholarship competition consists of a creativity assessment to be completed on Saturday 18th June at the Institute in Ulladulla, or at locations in Sydney and Canberra. The assessment is expected to take approximately 90 minutes. Time and location information will be forwarded after registration.
Parents are welcome to attend.
Winners will be notified and a presentation ceremony will be held at the Institute of Design in Ulladulla.
COST: There will be a $15 entry fee payable on the day in cash (please bring correct money with you).
WHAT TO BRING: Pen and pencils. Paper will be provided.
