Youth development center
As part of our ongoing community involvement, Institute of Design Ulladulla recently completed work on redesigning the logo for the Dunn Lewis Youth Development Foundation, a local youth organisation that helps young people develop personally, socially and vocationally.
The second and major part of the project was to design the branding, signage and promotional material for the Dunn Lewis Entertainment Centre.
The brief for the centre was aimed at creating a young and dynamic look to promote it to young people as a cool space to hang out, and to focus solely on the centre as a place for fun and entertainment. We also wanted to reflect the beach and surf culture of the Ulladulla area.
The first stage of the complex was officially opened on Saturday September 11, and includes a 12 lane bowling alley, conference room, lounge area, youth service rooms and snack bar. There was a huge crowd at the opening and IDU was there to talk to anyone interested in the design project and our courses.
